Coastal Adaptive Sports is devoted to providing community members with physical and visual disabilities with a variety of physical activities, regardless of age or skill level, in a fun and supportive environment.

Are you ready to get out and have some fun? Our goal is to make it easy for you and your family. We’ll find a way to strap you on, or strap you in, and then the fun begins.

You’ll be supported, encouraged, and cheered. Our events are staffed by people that are motivated to help ensure that you have fun! Come on out, we’re here to help.

Our events can be as large as hundreds of people, or just a small group getting together to ride tricycles. But, we require the support of the community to provide this service. HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Everyone’s situation is unique. We understand that you may have a question about how we can help you get involved. We’d love to speak with you or you family.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone

The Chris Skinner Story

One of our most popular events involves surfing. In 2017, we’ll partner with Wheel to Surf and the Adaptive Surf Project to get you on a board and in the water. Chris Skinner began his journey several years ago in partnership with Coastal Carolina Adaptive Sports and Recreation. He created this 10 minute video of his journey. While enjoying his story, take notice of the people in the background lifting, supporting, and smiling. This is Coastal Adaptive Sports!

Be Brave. Take Risks. Live Life.
